Happy healthy boiler annual service

Make sure your boiler’s happy and healthy

Your annual service helps preserve the reliability of your boiler, increases its lifespan & efficiency, and reduces the likelihood of costly repairs.

Also, if your boiler’s within its manufacturer warranty period and you don’t have it serviced every year, there’s a chance you’ll forfeit your warranty.

Landlords listen up, we can do an annual service as well as a gas safety inspection to cover your CP12 - we've got you covered.

A Boiler Plan annual service includes:

  • Checking for dangerous carbon monoxide leaks
  • Checking controls are working
  • Gas rate and pressure tests
  • Inspection of internal components
  • Combustion test using a flue analyser
  • Checking safety devices
  • Inspection of water and gas pipework
  • Inspection of electrical connections and seals
  • Identifying any corrosion or leaks
  • Cleaning boiler parts

How much does it cost?

A one-off price of just £72.

Or, sign up to our Silver Package Care Plan and only pay £5 per month – making it even more affordable.

We recommend having your boiler serviced during the summer months to make sure it’s ready for the tough winter months ahead.

One off affordable boiler repair

One-off boiler repairs

We know a boiler always breaks at the most inopportune time. That’s why our team of local Gas Safe registered engineers can be with you within 24 hours for emergency repairs.

Whether you need your boiler fixed quickly or it’s a non-emergency, we know that boiler problems are painful enough without having to worry about the financial implications.

How much does it cost?

A fixed and competitive rate of just £60 for the first hour. If we can fix your boiler within the hour, that’s all we’ll charge you. If it’s going to take more than an hour, we offer a reduced rate of £48 per hour. If you need new parts, you’ll only be charged the RRP on top of the hourly rate.

We know you’d rather spend your hard-earned money on anything but a boiler. That’s why we try to make the whole process as painless as possible – we’ll get the hot water running and radiators heating up again as quickly as we can.

An appealing option for homebuyers

If you’re moving home, you might think a repair is a better option but it’s still a gamble as something else could fail down the line.

An inefficient boiler and central heating system are likely to be picked up on a survey by prospective buyers so it’s better to replace it before you put the house on the market and cover the installation cost in your house price. Similarly, with renting, you’re more likely to attract and retain tenants with a reliable up-to-date boiler.

Plus, the great thing about Boiler Plan’s warranty is that it’s transferable to the new owner.

If you want to keep your boiler in tip-top condition for longer, an annual service is the way to go. It’s a bit like having an MOT for your car.

When to get your boiler repaired:

Stop using your boiler and get it checked as soon as possible if:

  • You see a yellow flame
  • There are odd smells when the boiler is running
  • You notice general wear and tear
  • There’s leaking from the unit
  • Radiators take a long time to heat up
  • The boiler or system are noisy
  • Bills are increasing
  • It needs repairing frequently

Should you repair or replace your boiler?

In general, it costs less to repair a newer boiler than a model that’s over 10-years-old. The problem with older boilers is that parts are often harder to come by – so finding and buying them costs a lot more.
